Friends Jim and Susan Swartz founded the Christian Center of Park City as a humanitarian, faith-based community-focused resource center, meeting immediate and basic needs primarily to Summit and Wasatch Counties. ideas needed for success:
- Increased demand for the Food Pantry, Counseling & Care Support, Latino and Refugee Outreach required funding from more than a few very generous donors.
- Anticipating greater growth and subsequent increased needs, CCPC needed to acquire and remodel the existing location for maximized outreach and sustainable expansion.

Expanding the CCPC donor base relied upon Byron Russell LLC’s network to address the growing pains of a successful mission, set forth by the founding vision. Celebrating this vision began with an idea of securing support and a visit of United States First Lady Michelle Obama, to collaboration with healthy food for those in need and her “Let’s Move” campaign.

- Hike for Hunger was created and launched in 2013 as an annual fundraising event, encouraging supporters and constituents to bring awareness to hunger locally and nationally. Hike for Hunger at Deer Valley resort enjoys over 800 participants.
- Installation of new data-base software and data-base management taking donor relations to a new level.
- Expanding CCPC donor base from 1,200 in 2012 to 13,000 constituents in 2016.
- In 2017, CCPC announced the public phase of the $7.3 million Capital Campaign, having raised over 60% of its goal. CCPC has acquired is existing location and will complete its expansion and remodel in 2018.
